A normal day
- 7:00amCrew lead arrives at the first site and taps Start Work. The punch is stamped inside that site fence — you know the job started, and where.
- 10:30amSecond site. Different fence, same tap. Nobody has to text an address to anyone.
- 12:00pmMeal break recorded as its own entry, which is what keeps the day defensible if it is ever questioned.
- 4:30pmLast clock-out. Hours per person per day are already totalled, with overtime applied by the California daily rule.
What usually goes wrong, and what happens instead
You only find out about a no-show at noon
The live view shows who is on the clock right now. An absent crew member is visible in the morning, not in the invoice.
Hours arrive as text messages and guesses
The punch is the record, made at the site, at the time. Nothing is retyped, so nothing is rounded in anybody favour.
Some staff work from home, some never do
Work-from-home is a per-person setting with its own home fence, not a blanket exception. Office staff keep the worksite rule; a remote coordinator clocks in from their kitchen.
New crew every season
Send one invite. They complete their details, sign the federal and California forms in the app, and are ready before the first shift — no paperwork to chase.
Which plan fits
Field work usually needs Premium, because every client address is a worksite and Premium removes the limit. Standard fits a crew that works from two fixed sites. Lite is too small unless you have exactly one address.
